The fuel consumption of the dump truck also increases from 30 kg/h at 1.5 km to 38 kg/h at 5 km. The result shows that SFC per unit distance decreases from 59.2 g/t km at 1 km to 52.8 g/t km at 5 km. Hence, operation of the dump truck in large mines with longer haulage distance is energy efficient.
