The process consists of extraction and stripping processes, both of which may contain parallel and series subprocesses. The process has two input flows, pregnant leach solution (PLS) and lean electrolyte (LE), and one recycling flow, the organic solution. In the extraction stage, the copper is extracted from PLS to barren organic (BO) solution.
